behind the scenes
The National Archives, London briefed me to position their Britain’s Cold War Revealed season as a leading cultural experience. I crafted a robust brand identity, designing print and digital promotional materials to engage audiences over six months. Inspired by Francis Bacon’s triptychs, I presented five concepts, with the chosen design incorporating a 1980s colour palette and retro imagery to capture the era’s intrigue. The branding was rolled out across their homepage, social media channels, bus sides, and a series of posters for London Transport sites across West London. I also created a range of merchandise for their gift shop including t-shirts, tote bags, journals, badges, coasters, and a souvenir exhibition brochure - inviting visitors to fully immerse themselves in the exhibition’s Cold War story.

How did we apply our CFP Framework?
The Creative (spark): from the 1980s-inspired color palette, retro objects and bold messaging, we transformed historical narratives into an engaging and accessible experience that captivated audiences.
The Fit (oxygen): working closely with The National Archives team, we tailored each campaign asset to fit seamlessly into their existing communication channels.
The Purpose (fuel): driven by a shared commitment to education and public engagement, we created a compelling creative campaign that resonated with their audiences.
